The answer
The answer to the riddle is quite simple. It is a direct fit to all the stanzas and all the hints. You will know when you have the right solution to the riddle because, when you find it, the correct answer is very obvious. If you doubt your answer ... it is probably wrong. Keep trying if you have any doubt.
And you can compare your guess or guesses to the wrong answers at Check your answer. Keep trying if your answer is on that list.
At some point I know you will want the right answer. But are you sure you want it now? If you are wrong ... then your fun is over. The chase may be more fun than the capture.
